The clerk walked out with me to see how much had leaked. Upon looking at it, she said it wasn't that significant. I agreed that it wasn't a large amount, but the fact was I still paid for that gas that was now on the ground. In a very snippy, sarcastic tone, said "Well, I will just pay you 78 cents out of my own pocket then." I refused this and asked her to have the manager call me. I left my card and then asked for the manager's number. Twenty-four hours later I have yet to be contacted.
I recognize that this was a rather insignificant amount of gas, but the point it gas is not cheap. How many other people used the pump that day? The manager could have spoken with me and at least offered to buy me a Pepsi or something.
I used this gas station on Sept. 7, 2013. Started filling my car and after putting about 10 gallons in happened to notice the pump hose was leaking gas onto the ground. I immediately stopped pumping gas. Since I used my credit card, I was already charged for the gas. I went into the station and informed the clerk what had happened and asked if I could speak to a manager. The clerk said she would get the manager and went into the back. She then came back and said the manager wasn't working. Huh? So, the manager was there but refused to talk to me? At this point, I was now upset because of the poor customer service.
